Our speaker will be Gene Scothorn, Vice Chairman, Santa Cruz County Republican Central Committee.  He will be speaking on the propositions, candidates, and the special election.  The Title will be:  The 2010 Ballot Propositions:  The latest battles in California’s 99-Years’  War.  Gene has been responsible for the recruitment of candidates for local offices and for spearheading candidate training and strategy.  He has served as an elected public official, having been twice elected to the Scotts Valley Water District Board of Directors where he served four terms as President.  He has chaired two committees that were successful in defeating local ballot measures advocating growth-limitation and tax increases.  Don’t miss this important information!
