If you check the County elections office candidate watch pages you'll see the Monning, Farr and Eshoo all have challengers. And you'll see that that several County Non-Partisan offices have challengers to the incumbants. This may be a very interesting June Primary.
On Saturday, February 27, the Santa Cruz Republican Party held a successful candidate school.
